What is broad spectrum hemp extract?

Broad spectrum hemp extract contains all naturally occurring cannabinoid compounds and terpenes from the hemp plant with no or undetectable levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).

+ -

What is the difference between cannabis, hemp, and marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana are both cannabis plants. Cannabis Sativa L. is simply the botanical name for the plant, of which hemp and marijuana are two different types.

Hemp has a much lower THC content than marijuana and must test below .3% to be considered hemp. Unlike marijuana, hemp has many practical applications including textiles, biofuels, food, rope, clothing, cosmetics, paper, plastics, and building materials. Marijuana is higher-potency cannabis, most often associated with containing a high percentage of THC.

Why hemp derived cannabinoids and not just CBD

There are more than 100 distinct cannabinoids contained in the hemp plant. CBD, or cannabidiol, is just one cannabinoid extracted from hemp; it is the most prominent in terms of concentration and most widely known.

What is CBG and why is it important?

CBG, cannabigerol, is a cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. CBG is still being studied, but early research indicates it may be beneficial in addressing inflammation, pain, nausea, and reduction of intraocular eye pressure caused by glaucoma. Scientists are additionally evaluating the possibility of using CBG in the treatment of conditions such as Crohn’s disease and cancer.

How long does CBD stay in your system?

The amount of time CBD stays in the body varies from person to person and can range from days to weeks. Cannabinoids are fat-soluble compounds, meaning that many factors contribute to how long they remain in your body. Please consult with your Medical Professional who can provide information more specific to you based on your health history.

+ -

How do I know what dose of CBD is right for me?

Always consult with your Medical Professional before taking any hemp formulated products. Medical Professionals will be able to consider patient health history before recommending a specific dosage and product form.

+ -

Are CBD products safe to take with medication?

Recommendations on taking any hemp formulated products are always best guided and managed by Medical Professionals who will be able to consider patient health history and other factors before recommending a specific dosage and product form.

+ -

Will hemp based products get me high?

Generally speaking, hemp derived products that meet federal guidelines below .3% THC will not produce euphoric effects similar to marijuana. However, in certain instances and at very high dosage levels, given the fat-soluble nature of THC and other cannabinoids, hemp derived products could produce a mild euphoric feeling. Always consult with your Medical Professional before taking any hemp formulated products. Medical Professionals will be able to consider patient health history and other factors before recommending a specific dosage and product form to a patient.

Can I pass a drug test if I am taking Fourth Power Labs products?

All Fourth Power Labs products contain zero or non-detectable levels of THC. However, given the fat-soluble nature of THC and other cannabinoids, accumulation of THC may reach levels that can be detected on a routine drug test. The length of time cannabinoids remain in your system, and at what level, varies from person to person and can range from days to weeks, making it impossible to know if THC will be detected on a drug test. If you are concerned with passing a drug test, we do not recommend using any hemp derived cannabinoid products.

+ -

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are naturally occurring compounds found in the hemp plant that deliver aroma and taste. In addition, terpenes work in concert with the hemp plants’ cannabinoids to deliver a therapeutic entourage effect. The entourage effect is best understood as terpenes and cannabinoids acting synergistically to deliver combined therapeutic benefits.
